I also just started with ST and a trial of ActionTiles but it was a bummer seeing my TP-link switches weren't fully supported yet. I think you can use ST virtual switches tied-in with IFTTT and ST automation as a work-around to make it work but it will sure add more latency when initiated through the virtual switches.May 4, 2017 · SmartApps & Automations. The Actiontiles programmers were spending all their time working to replace groovy. The second thing was the death of one of the Actiontiles founders. That created some legal issue as well as management issues that had to be resolved. There was also an issue with paid licensing of Actiontiles for Hubitat accounts.Revoking access tokens will now actually work. The process of resetting access token has been streamlined. ActionTiles is a great interface for managing and controlling SmartThings. Having previously created a webpage that delivered a calendar image f or use in ActionTiles I thought I’d have a go at creating some more ‘dynamic’ images.

SmartTiles has an "Event History" Tile which listed activity (status change) events for all Tiles on the entire Dashboard in a single list, ordered most recent to oldest. SmartTiles allows developers to pull at most 7 days of activity history directly from their Cloud. ActionTiles launched without this feature.

Alex. I concur with your assumptions. I did not check to see if the smart apps were accessible before migrating. As the smartthings support person states you can go in and click add and IF the smart app is listed you can make changes. Unfortunately actiontiles is not listed so that does not work.I use Life360 from my mobile phone as a presence in my automations. But now I'm constantly not present in ActionTiles. My wife's phone is working as normal. In the Smarthings app, my mobile is listed as connected just like my wife's. I have Weather Station 2.0 installed from GitHub, and when I click on "List Events" for that device, I see it polling for updates every 15 minutes, even when I'm not logged into ActionTiles. So it always seems to display the current status in ActionTiles, while SmartWeather Station never does (unless I manually refresh).
