In all honesty, for most people, the full size is just easy to shoot. The HK45c is nothing to shake a stick at either, but the full size just makes it easier to work with. The HK45c has a P7 size following. The HK45 only seems to have a USP 45 size following, if that makes any sense.

The past debates have been about leaving the sear alone, or replacing with one from kit.The instructions are nearly identical for installation in the HK45 or HK45c. I did both of mine from these instructions, less than an hour each. The Var 9 detent plate will keep the decocker from being "useless" and prevent the downward motion of the control lever.
