Problem is it doesn't do that anymore. Keeps blowing coolant out of the engine and into the overflow till it is full and the engine starts to over heat.

The coolant levels out after i let the pressure out. I had an oil sample today at Speedco to check for coolant in the oil caused by Head Gasket. Oil Sample came back clean. Scratches down in low snow, let it cool if the temp light comes on. The caps can leak, you probably have that fixed by bending the tabs a little. Sometimes cap wear out and will not hold the 15 lbs of pressure in the system anymore and puke coolant.Troubleshooting Steps. It's nearly impossible to fill the Cruze's coolant and get all the air bubbles out so they work their way out as you drive. You'll need to put more coolant in in a few weeks simply to replace the air that's worked it's way out of the system.

The coolant was being lost through the coolant overflow hose. I fought with this, stopping every 30-45 minutes and adding 1/4 to 1/2 gallon of water. The engine never did run hot, with the hottest it ever got being a hair over 200.
